Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Cargosphere Global Logistics ("Cargosphere", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Scope of Services
Cargosphere operates as a licensed international freight forwarder, providing air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, and customs brokerage services. We act as an agent on behalf of the shipper to arrange transportation with third-party carriers.
3. Shipper Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and complete documentation for all shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and necessary export/import licenses.
- You are responsible for properly packaging and labeling goods, especially dangerous or hazardous materials, in compliance with IATA, IMDG, and DOT regulations.
- You are liable for any fines, fees, or damages resulting from inaccurate declarations or improper packaging.
4. Liability and Insurance
Our liability for lost or damaged cargo is strictly limited by international conventions (e.g., Montreal Convention for air freight, Hague-Visby Rules for ocean freight) and our standard trading conditions. We highly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive marine or cargo insurance to cover the full value of their goods.
5. Payment Terms
Invoices are payable upon receipt unless a net-30 corporate credit account has been pre-approved. We reserve the right to withhold cargo release or Bill of Lading documentation until all outstanding freight and customs charges are paid in full.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the maritime laws of the United States and the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the federal or state courts located in Houston, Texas.
